I have been drawn to art my whole life. As a kid, I made friendship bracelets and origami boxes for friends. In high school, I dabbled in painting sunsets over oceans as well as painting abstract art.  After college I discovered jewelry making and created countless sets of earrings, bracelets and necklaces using beads and Swarovski crystals.

In 2016, my son Graysen was born. My world changed, but my commitment to art for joy remained. I continued to bead, and before the pandemic hit in January 2020 I had taken interest in flow art with acrylic paint and soon after, resin. I started with creating resin coasters and slowly worked my way into larger resin wall art including geode art and oceans.  Before then, I had never sold my art before, I had always just gifted it and felt bad accepting money, even when offered.  It was an old high school friend who reached out to me asking to buy two sets of custom coasters.  Resin is very expensive, and I knew that I couldn't afford to keep creating without selling my work, so they were my first sale! I began posting my work on Instagram and Facebook and have sold my art as far as across the country to California, and across the Atlantic Ocean, to Germany! 

 

I love that I am doing artwork daily, whether it be planning out my next idea or actively pouring. Working in this medium is so fulfilling!
